Radio Talk Show on Beauty Tips and Skin care ect, Would You Participate? *Native American Indian Women Only*?

I am having an episode on that, and I am wondering if you would participate? There is a call in number to my show, and can be reached from any phone. What are some things you would like to hear? We will not only be talking about make up and skin care, but hair care as well…let me know THANK YOU!!! Finally a show made for US!!! =)

Sure, why not?

Currently going through chemo – should I cut my hair or not? My Nation is kind of vague about the traditional "rules" about cutting hair, but it is falling out by the handful (literally) and I don’t want a few straggly, long – 3 foot, wisps of hair that the chemo hasn’t touched dotting my scalp. It already looks horrible…actually, as horrible as I currently feel. I have considered a wig, but I don’t think that it is a natural look, but then again, neither is the effect from chemo.

I asked some of my elders about the entire situation – they have given me mixed messages depending on the gender of the elder asked…pft.

I use a witch hazel tincture daily as an astringent – have for as long as I can remember, so did my mother, and her mother, and so on. It either works wonders, or I have been blessed with good skin. lol

I don’t wear make up, or any beauty products. I wash and do my hair with Johnsons baby shampoo and wash. My hair is long, I braid it down the back or put it in a pony tail. So no, I wouldn’t. My 13 yr old daughter would though, my 9 yr old daughter would not..
