Murad Skin Care

On Oprah they had one of the world't most famous plastic surgeons and he said that the BEST anti wrinkle cream is….sunblock.

I was just reading about that show a few minutes ago on her website. Is this what you are talking about:

Makeup - I usually use whatever is on sale until I found out what was in it! Animal by product! Not to mention all the animal testing. I'm looking for a good makeup that isn't outrageous and doesn't use or test on animals.

Skin Care - I use Clinique, but it is SO expensive. What other good options are out there? Again no animal testing or ingredients. My face is kind of dry and oily at the same time. Kind of red and blotchy and just not as pretty as I would like. Plus I'm getting freckles from tanning bed and sun! I tan in the spring just a little bit.

The Body Shop is cruelty free (no testing on animals or buying from suppliers that do), are 100% vegetarian, and have some vegan lines as well. Their brushes don't use animal hair, just about the only thing keep them from not being vegan is honey, but that's mostly in lotions and shower gels. If you have combination skin, their seaweed or vitamin E lines are great. Their skincare is reasonably priced and you can buy from any Body Shop store, thebodyshop.com, amazon.com, or from a consultant you can find at thebodyshopathome.com.

Kay, First thanks for checking out my question… Now the fun part… got any family secrets, folk remedies, or herbal solutions for skin care, hair care, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, laundry detergents…Make-up too please! I would REALLY appreciate it and anyone else can look at the answers to my question to save from having to spend five of their own points to ask something similar! The more the merrier :)

Any folk or herbal remedies for longterm skin care, hair care, stuff I can make at home instead of buying in a store… Really appreciate the help!!! I am a college student who has virtually given up on the Make-up industry and am a broke student with oily skin and hair, and severe acne… so pretty much any tips on how to make any products at home to keep from buying them in store would be appreciated… thanks again in advance for your assistance…

Best wishes,
:)
I don't know any for skin or hair care. But if you are looking for cleaners water mixed with baking soda and vinigar are really good. Vinigar and water great for glass. I learned that when my hubby had empysema and I could not use anything with a scent.
Sorry I can't help with the hair and face thing. I think vinigar is a good rinse for the hair, removes all the soap.

I was going to buy Serious Skin Care's liquid lasor hair removal product (just for my arms) but it's expensive, and after looking at the reviews on it, I'd rather use something cheaper…and that I could get in person. Someone mentioned using Nair instead (but I assume they were talking about for their legs) but that made me think…what about for arms? Would that work?

I just wondered if it'd grow back any differently…if it'd be safe, and if anyone thinks it's a bad idea. If I shouldn't use it on my arms, is there anything you recommend?

I plan on eventually getting lasor hair removal…but want something to use on my arms for the time being.

Thanks.

Yes

make up = MAC skin care = clinique

And please no proactive, I have no acne i do have occasional break outs but something more natural please. I do get redish pale skin and dry skin too. send me a link to the picture of the product too.

I use Mary Kay Microdermabrasion. It works WONDERS, has been the #1 selling skincare product line since 1993, and STILL is today! Let me know if you would like some! ilike2shop@marykay.com is my email address.

I think indian women have the most beautiful skin i wanted to know if there where any indian people that could tell me what to use. I love natural products. Thanks

i recommend arbonne it is 100% botanically based, no mineral oil, no animal by products, pH correct, and feels great on your skin i love it

I have oily skin, but i'm a teen so that's typical. I can never seem to get my foundation to stay on my face for more than 5 hours. Even when i have a primer and apply loose powder, it never stays. the reviews make the product sound so perfect, then i go out and buy it, and it doesn't work for me. I go to school. I don't have time to worry or keep applying makeup, and i definately don't have the money to keep buying new products. can someone please tell me a skin care or foundation that truly worked for your oily skin.

i'm currently using:
Mac primer
revlon colorstay foundation
cornsilk loose powder

i've used
bare minerals
physicians formula
mary kay
clinique
neutrogena
dream mousse matte

OK i can see you've been using high quality products!
I'm a teenager and at the moment I've gone obsessed with benefit cosmetics. I have very large pores which equals very oily skin so foundation tends to come of quicker but then i found this product!

she laq by benefit cosmetics
a clear liquid makeup sealer
Use she laq and your makeup will stay put! You can let those tears of joy flow, without looking a mess! Apply this clear liquid makeup sealer to shadows, mascaras, and liners and your makeup stays put… no matter how many tissues you go through. Comes with a complete set of mini brushes.

Tips and tricks: Allow to dry completely for about 1-2 minutes before touching it. Wash brushes after each use and store in pouch. Works great over show-offs!, brow zings, and babe cakes

She laq maybe a litte pricey however it's lasted me age and a little goes a long way!

Try using tinted moisturisers instead of foundation!

Invest in your skin you will be thanking me when your in your 50's!

P.S Please stay away from brands like
Covergirl
L'Oreal
Maxfactor
because they all test their products on animals
plus if you have a pet and feed them iams please stop! Iam's conducts cruel unnesserary exsperiments on animals go to www.iamscruelty.com

A jar of green herbal emulsion, like Vaseline, made by someone like Clairol, or a like American company. It actually exfoliated on some level.

Hey, that is over 30 years ago!
Like, ya know - it's not made any more.
You said green herbal emulsion - that would
be by now black slime.
Try something new. There are a lot of good
products out now - better quality and they
smell much better too.
