Any advice on best skin care /makeup?
I am trying to revamp myself, so so speak. I want to look stunning and healthy! I had my fourth baby 9 months ago and found a site that sells many types of high-end products, both for skin care and makeup. I have relatively nice skin but some sun damage (spots) and a couple light scars. My skin is also uneven. Sometimes I break out a little but seldom. I have dark circles under my eyes and they get puffy as well from lack of sleep. I am getting myself back in shape physically and am in pretty good shape, except for that baby tummy! I am planning on buying LipFusion because of the great things I've heard about it. I also want to have glossy hair (glossing products?) and am dying to try Frederick Fekkais Shimmer Spray. This website offers Peter Thomas Roth and his products sound good, but also they offer Murad, Lancome, Talika, Clinique, La Prairie, Ahava, Sisley, Borghese and something like Noevir(?)I am broke right now but have credit with this company. I'm 37 years old. Advice please!
Damage/sun spots, scars & uneven skin tone can be fixed quickly with Bio-Oil,get it from the chemist or drugstore,it costs approx $17 and lasts a while too.Iv got 2 kids and no-one can tell iv had them! For makeup Id suggest Sheer-Cover,it covers all floors without feeling like there is anything on your skin,it even covers birth-marks.I have very sensitive skin and like you I dont have too many probs,I just wanted to look fresh,I did this a year ago and havent looked back since! And that Pro-Active stuff really does work for clearing up your skin,so even if you dont want to wear makeup on any given day you dont have to and you still look great(wich helps when your running around after kids all day and then you get those unexpected visitors!ahh!)Pro-Active and Sheer-Cover are inexpensive and you can get them onthe same site..and did I mention they deliver to your door too!Hope you find what your looking for.Good Luck

What is the best skin care for African American women? Especially for doing facials!?
Whether it is cheap or expensive (preferably cheap)
I want to do an at home facial.
This is a home remedy ,Facials are good for your skin because they improve the appearance of it and also are soothing and relaxing. The first step is to take a warm, wet towel and lay it over your face for a few minutes – just lie back and relax. A quick way of warming the towel is to wet it then place it in the microwave until it is a nice temperature. Then remove the towel and go about fixing your home steaming treatment. This can be done by boiling some water in a pot with herbs or essential oil in it. Peppermint and lavender oils can help oily skin for example, but there are a whole range of different kinds to help different skin conditions so you have to experiment to find out what is best for your skin. When the water has boiled, remove it from the heat, place the towel over your head and hold your face over the steam -you will feel your pores opening. Do this for 5 or 10 minutes, but if you feel uncomfortable then stop at any time. After the steam treatment, gently pat your face dry and apply a face mask. While this is left on you can lie down and relax again. You might want to try sliced cucumber over your eyes to get rid of any puffiness and to add to the relaxation. When you have had the mask on for the given time, carefully rinse it off, pat your face dry and add your usual moisturiser and toner if you use one.
What Skin care products works best with RENOVA?
HAD BEEN USING MARY KAY PRODUCTS BUT THE MOISTERIZER BURNS MY FACE. ANY ONE TRIED RENOVA AND IF SO WHAT SKIN CARE REGIMEN DO YOU USE WITH THIS WONDERFUL PRODUCT?
Renova is an exfoliant that is irritating to the skin. This is intentional. Its main ingredient is a weaker version of what is used in chemical peels.
Mary Kay products can contain mineral oils and fragrences that increase this irritation.
I suggest you look at Avon Clinical Line and Wrinkle Corrector and Clinical Deep Crease Serum, with sun protection during the day – which is critical.
You could also look at more soothing products that contain natural botanicals like the Arbonne line or a skin healer like Neutrogena Visibily Firm.
