The question is whether you have oily skin or is the product you're using oil based? If oily skin - an oily skin care regimen. I like aularale.com/7002's moisture balancing for my oily skin. I masque 2-3 times weekly to control my oil and get rid of dead skin cells. I also use the vitamin c serum to exfoliate and keep the zits zapped before day/night moisturizer. If product is oil based, change. Also, I find that mixing product lines doesn't work well

but… i have a huge problem. ever since i was a little kid i have had very oily skin, and my scalp is so oily that my hair has to be washed absolutely every day. every morning i wake up with disgustingly dirty looking hair so i have to get up early to wash it before work. i exercise almost every day and i sweat a lot on my face and neck which only makes my problem worse. when my hair is fresh and clean it is very soft and healthy looking because of all of the natural oils, but it only takes half a day for it to start looking greasy again…

i love my hair, but i hate my oily scalp! i am trying to find a deep cleansing shampoo that will keep my hair fresh all day long, but is gentle enough to not irritate my scalp, which is also kind of sensitive. i am thinking of skipping conditioner altogether, at least while the weather is still hot, and just spending the extra bucks on a high quality shampoo that will help me with this problem. does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

i have tried a lot of the usual trendy brands of hair care and they have never worked for me. right now i am using herbal essenses “drama clean”, but it doesn’t work that well… and i hate the smell… i used paul mitchel tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner last summer, and it worked really well for my hair, but it really irritated my scalp and made it very dry, red, and itchy. what else would be similar to this, but more gentle on my skin?

I have super oily hair that has to be washed daily, too.

I went to my local salon and talked to the woman who worked there and she recommended Joico - Silk Result. They have it for all hair types. I buy thick-course hair, but they have fine hair as well. It has really controlled my oily hair and I can wake up the next day without it being an oily mess.

The shampoo is about $30 a bottle. I also use the conditioner but only put it on my ends. Never put conditioner towards the roots of your hair if you have oily hair.

Do not buy the cheap drugstore shampoos such as Suave, Herbal Essences, Infusium 23! They will only do your hair more damage. The only one that works somewhat well is Dove - Beautifully clean.

LOL…it's amazing how Maybelline, Revlon, and Covergirl bring out "mineral makeup" and then have the nerve to call it "pure". No, the only products that are "pure" on that ingredient list is glycerine, iron oxides, and titanium dioxides…the rest of the ingredients are unneeded, unhealthy ingredients that not only clog pores…but can make you break out terribly.

Here is my rule of thumb: If the makeup ingredient list says that more than TEN ingredients were used in the powder…it is most likely NOT pure.

If the makeup was found at Wal-Mart or any other store, and is less than $10…than it is most likely NOT pure.

Try sheercover or afterglowcosmetics for REAL mineral makeup…the rest of the crap found in stores (including Bare mineral and Bare escentuals) is not good for your skin, at all…..

I haven't had even one complaint, let alone a lawsuit, in over 15 years of selling products. Just make sure you know what you're doing. Natural is easy - most of the ingredients are edible. And there is plenty of scientific evidence to back up the fact that natural works - and works better - than conventional! Once people try my products they never go back to the comparable conventional products.

everyone does it and its SO LAZY. and its on every question yuo ask. i am SICK of people just copying and pasting this crappy advertisement into questions that need ACTUAL decent answers!!!! who agrees?

OMg yes! What really is irritating is that you have look all the stuff up at that website instead of just getting a decent answer. I give every one I see a low rating. Maybe if we all do that they'll stop. The one's that Reesie (it comes up blank until u click on her avatar) are stupid. I mean if u have to pay $10 for 1 month and it takes 8 weeks to see improvment, then thats 2 months that you have to wait and $20 that u don't know were spent wisely! "B" s is really annoying too.

I exfoliate, moisturize, drink a lot of water…anything you can think of for skin care. I just can't find the right makeup for my skin.

Currently, I use Shiseido pressed powder. It tends to dry out my skin. I looked into mineral based makeup (like Bare Minerals) but I'm pretty sure this will also make my skin dry out even more.

Any suggestions???

I had the same exact problem with finding makeup for my dry skin and know your frustration. Try "Makeup Forever" (sold at Sephora). I just use the concealer and foundation and it does wonders to cover up my scars and it works well with my dry skin. It is a little pricey but costs about the same as Bare Minerals (which doesn't work well with dry skin). I hope you have a Sephora in your area because Makeup Forever is da bomb!
