Miranda Kerr claims that her new Kora skin care range is 100% organic. LIAR! Dont you hate it when companies lie about their products just in order to make a quick buck? I went online and researched the ingredients in Kora skin care products and found out they are the furthest thing from organic. Toxic would be a far better description. Kora skin care contains ingredients such as benzyl alcohol and industrial chemicals such as acetic and stearic acid which are known to cause cancer, reproductive toxicity, allergies, irritation, and brain damage. Why pay $54.95 for a bottle of poison when you can simply buy a jar of extra-virgin organic coconut oil from your local health food store for around $8.00? A jar will last you well over a year and youll save yourself hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in the process.

Always make sure to research all your skin care product ingredients because you never know what youll be slapping on your face. Dont believe what the label tells you and definitely dont believe what the manufacturer or advertisement tells you!

Here are some of the toxic ingredients in Miranda Kerrs Kora and other brand-name skin care products with links to more information:

- Benzyl alcohol scores 7 out of 10 as being hazardous. Benzyl alcohol causes cancer, reproductive toxicity, allergies, skin, eyes or lung irritation, neurotoxicity (brain damage), and endocrine disruption.

- Acetic acid (or hydrogen acetate) is an industrial chemical used in the manufacture of plastics and pharmaceuticals. Products made with acetic acid include soft drink bottles, photographic film, polyvinyl acetate for wood glue and synthetic fibers and fabrics.

- Glycerin (also known as glyceryl) is a synthetic chemical substance that is widely used in pharmaceutical formulations.
